Kampala, 12th September 2017 - Recently booking and paying for hotels and flights on the Jumia Travel Uganda site was made even more efficient with the introduction of the “Pay at the office” option to suit the customers’ needs. This allows you to book and pay for your selected hotel and flight at the Jumia Travel physical offices located on Plot 47, Lumumba Avenue, Nakasero.
To this effect, Jumia Travel has partnered with Barclays Bank of Uganda Ltd which has provided Mobile Point Of Sale machines that allow customers to use their debit/credit cards to make payments for Hotel and Flights when at the Jumia Travel Office. Accepted cards include; Visa Card, MasterCard, China Union Pay, American Express and Maestro Card.
"This partnership with Barclays Bank of Uganda Ltd reaffirms our commitment to offer the best services and convenience to our customers, who can now pay for flights and hotel bookings at our office with their card," says Country Manager Jumia Travel Uganda - Timothy Mugume.
Jumia Travel Uganda’s intention is to allow more people to enjoy the travel experience. The other payment options on the site include Bank Transfer for both Dollar and Uganda shillings accounts and MTN Mobile Money so everyone is catered for.
